Clean with your personal likes/dislikes in mind. Those areas that require additional attention, should receive it first. Then go back and ensure it meets your standards. Essentially, you should want to stay there yourself! If it meets your standards, ideally, it will meet those of your guests.

Tidiness is paramount! Ensuring your space has enough convenient storage areas to place personal and professional belongings makes for an easy cleanup. Likewise, it conveys to your guests that you take cleanliness seriously. They will treat the space with the same level of attention as you do.
